Relational, deeply curious therapy for the patterns keeping you stuck.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving clients across California, Kansas, and Texas.
My work is built for individuals and couples who feel exhausted by their own thoughts, stuck in old behavioral loops, or caught in the heavy friction where real life meets mental health. You don’t need another person to tell you to “just take some time for yourself.” You need a place to look honestly at what is keeping you stuck, and a partner to help you fix it.
A Conversational Partnership
You might have been to therapy before, the kind where you talk for fifty minutes, the therapist nods thoughtfully, asks “and how does that make you feel?” and sends you back out into the world.
That isn’t how I work. I view therapy as a conversational, relational partnership. You are the absolute expert on your life; my job is to bring genuine curiosity, active engagement, and the steady, honest push you need to actually break old patterns. We won’t just sit and talk about what hurts. We will look at the roots of it, and build practical ways for you to move through your week.
Bringing your whole self into the room.
You are not just a list of symptoms; you are a person operating inside a demanding workplace, a family history, and a complex culture. A major part of my practice is dedicated to high achievers, first-generation immigrants, and marginalized individuals who carry invisible weight. Whether we are untangling corporate burnout, the complex identity work of navigating multiple cultures, or the real, destabilizing impact of systemic friction—including racism, homophobia, and transphobia—you will never have to spend your session translating your lived experience to me. You get to bring your whole self into the room.
How we get unstuck
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all worksheets. Depending on what you bring to our sessions, our work together draws on several established clinical disciplines:
-
Looking at the roots (Attachment & Psychodynamic work) to understand the unspoken rules you learned early on about safety, love, and your own worth.
-
Interrupting the loop (Cognitive & Trauma-Focused work) to calm the nervous system and catch the deceptive thought patterns keeping you stuck on repeat.
-
Building the pivot (Solution-Focused work) so you leave our sessions with tangible momentum, not just abstract insights.
Whenever you’re ready.
Whether you are navigating the aftermath of trauma, the exhausting cycles of OCD, daily anxiety, or relationship conflict, we won’t just sit and talk about the problem; we will work together toward the solution.

Is Therapy Right for You?
Most people don’t start therapy because their life blew up; they start because their usual ways of holding it together stopped working.
You don’t need a rock-bottom crisis or a severe clinical label to justify being here. In my practice, therapy is usually the right next step if:
-
You are exhausted by your own head. You can hold it together at work or take care of your family, but the internal background noise of daily anxiety, OCD loops, unaddressed ADHD, or old trauma never actually shuts off.
-
You have plenty of insight, but zero traction. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, and know exactly why you do what you do—but all that self-awareness hasn’t actually stopped you from repeating the pattern.
-
You are carrying weight you can’t set down. Whether it is the slow drain of depression, career burnout, the disorientation of a major life transition, or sharp relationship conflict, you are tired of just "managing" it.
-
You want an honest sounding board, not an echo chamber. Talking to friends or family usually means having to manage their anxiety about your problems. You want a steady, dedicated space where you can be completely blunt without being judged or placated.
Ultimately, therapy isn’t a passive venting session. It takes real courage and vulnerability to take down the armor that you’ve used to protect yourself. In my practice, taking those steps is met with a curious, conversational, relational partnership. I don’t just sit and nod. We won’t just talk about it. We will work together to get to the root of what is keeping you stuck and actually move forward.
